Meaningful culture change led by our racing community, isn’t just possible, it’s happening now.
On the 24th of July we conducted our annual OnTrack Strategy Session bringing together the Thought Leaders of Racing to help us review progress to date, and map out our objectives for the future. The key message was powerful: meaningful culture change led by our racing community, isn’t just possible, it’s happening now.
Some snippets from the day included:
- Dr John Fitzgerald highlighted our legal obligations under Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, emphasising how healthy work environments prevent serious risk and protect our people
- Jorgen Gullestrup (OnTrack Director) shared the global momentum behind peer-led support models, stressing that connection and timely intervention save lives
- Victoria McArthur (OnTrack CEO) demonstrated real examples of crisis interventions where racing participantshave been supported through suicidal distress and connected with help.
The room’s unanimous support shows we’re ready to move from vision to sustained action, and it also aligned with our broader industry led strategy session in 2024.
Leaders are now actively including OnTrack in decision-making and drawing on us as a trusted, evidence-based advisory to support everyone in our racing community.
